The Queers | Don't Back Down
"Dont Back Down" is the last time that the queers will record with their most popular members (Joe, B-Face and Hugh). Hugh died from as far as I know a Brain tumor, and B-face seems to have joined the groovie ghoulies full time. I saw them play with what looks like their new line up Febuary this year, and although I did not get the chance to see them live with their previous line up, I was very impressed with what I saw.
"Dont Back Down" is what you would expect from a Queers album, catchy, fast and in your face. Songs about love, songs about girls with no tits, songs about Beer and songs about washing dishes. Big Joe's three Chords have never sounded better.

The Outstandings songs on the album are "Punk Rock Girls" whitch is pop-punk at its best , the Ramones-like song "Another Girl" and "I can't get Over You" is also a ear catching song with Lisa Marr on vocals. (you can get this track with Joe on vocals on the Better Days and Better Lays album, as well as early versions of "No Tit"- With DR Frank from the Mr T Experience on backing vocals - and "Born to do Dishes"). This is a classic Punk Rock album - If you havent heared any stuff by the Queers before buy this.

I have heared from many sources that The Queers will be touring with Green Day on their next European tour. They have before, so it wouldn't suprise me if they did again.
